Ola

I have no idea where to go with this problem so i try here.

The problem i have is that in Visual Studio, Management Studio and "Alt-Tab"
i have this problem that the key i press seems to repeat itself.

For example, i press enter two-three times in a query windows in Mgm Studio.
All of a sudden the cursor just jumps down 10-15 lines. And when i hit
backspace to go back it can just go back totally out of control and delete my
code and everything. It's totally impossible to work hehe.

The behavior just started today and i can't remember installing or doing
anything strange at all today.

The programs i have noticed this in is Visual Studio 2005, Mgm Studio and
when i do alt-tab (the "selected" windows just goes wild as i was hodling
down alt-tab).

I have tried with another keyboard and it behaves exactly the same. I have
rebooted and still no soultion.

I have tried to change the settings in "Keyboard" on the controlpanel and
changed "Reapeat rate" and "reapeat delay" and it actual seems to help a bit
(the problem is still there but does not have so big impact because it doesnt
buffer up as much i guess) so i guess the problem is that it "buffers" my
keystrokes in some strange way .. (damn, now this happend inside this window
to). What is the default setting for "Reapeat rate" and "reapeat delay" in
Vista?

Please help me .. i can't work hehe.

I have the same problem.
I am running Vista Business on a Dell Latitude 620 laptop.
Key strokes will repeat themselves. and spaces will repeat also.
I have changed the keyboard and the port replicator.

Have you got a wireless keyboard or mouse? If you have you may find the
problem cured by changing the battery.

Unfortunatley no. the Keyboard and mouse are running through a port
replicator.
The laptop is a Dell Latitude D620 with Windows Vista Business.

Perhaps I should add a wireless keyboard and Mouse.
