Stop USB Dat Drive Ejecting Tape

Hi,

I have a Freecom external USB Dat drive connected to a computer that I
log into using remote desktop. Every time I reboot the computer it
causes the tape to pop out of the Dat drive.

Now as I am logged in remotely, you can understand that this is very
annoying.

Does anyone know how I can stop this? Maybe a registry hack?
