startup

after start up all the icon's and the task bar disapear.
I tried to use system restore but it cannot acess any of the previous
points. only the ones since the problem started.
I can run programs but need to use the run feature in task manager.
just installed windows live one care, this cleaned my computer of any virus'
I had but now i'm stuck on how to fix this problem with the icon's.

Try using msconfig for the run line and see what is trying to startup
at system start up or you can use a tool called hijack this.
