I just noticed something odd about the "Start" button on the bottom left of
my Windows XP screeen. It apears the bottom half of the word "Start" is
shifted slightly to the left and out of line with the upper part of the word
"Start". The word no longer has a smooth appearance, almost like it has
been pushed to the left a pixel or two. Everything else appears normal. Any
ideas or comments?

thanks, Bob

Sounds like a video driver problem.

I updated my video driver but the problem persists.

It is only the word "Start" and not the Windows symbol that appears
alongside the word.

Any 3rd party theming apps installed? Is this a recent issue? If so try a
system restore to before the problem occurred.
