I'm trying to add permon counter logs for Process / Processor and Memory
Objects on a windows 2000 Server with SP4 and running SQL 2000.

The only objects listed are:

Distributed Transaction Co-ordinator
IAS Accounting Clients
IAS Accounting Server
IAS Authentication Clients
IAS Authentication Server
Microsoft Gatherer
Microsoft Gatherer Projects
Microsoft Search
Microsoft Search Catalogs
Microsoft Search Indexer Catalogs
Terminal Services
Terminal Services Session.

There are no 'standard' objects listed at all. It doesn't seem to matter if
i log from a local server, or a remote server they're just not listed.

Has anyone experienced this before, and what steps did they take to remedy?

Z.

And of course, as soon as i post i find the answer. For some reason,
they're disabled. Using this utlity helps restore them:

Extensible Performance Counter List (exctrlst.exe): This tool provides
information about the performance counter DLLs that have been installed on
a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000. The tool lists the
services and applications that provide performance information by using the
Windows 2000 registry. To download this tool, click the following link:
