Speaker volume control keeps sliding to minimum volume.

Hi there,

As per the subject, my speaker volume control keeps sliding down to
the minimum eery time i move it to anything but. I've reinstalled my
sound card drivers and updated them to the latest version and it
didn't do anything. Usually it sorts itself out somehow but hasn't in
the last couple of days. I really don't fancy doing a reinstall of
windows, so was wondering if anyone out there knew how I could solve
my problem?

I'm using WindowsXP Professional with SP2 and my sound card is
SoundBlaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro with driver version 2.9.7.

Ok ignore me heh. I found out my USB headset volume control was stuck
in the - potision :/
