OK you experts how about a rule to get rid of the many MI5 related posts
that are hitting all boards. Too many variables for me.
TIA SG

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the Subject line contains 'm' and 'i' and '5' and 'p' and 'e'
and 'r' and 's' and 'c' and 'u' and 't' and 'o' and 'n' and 'h'
Highlight it with Silver
and Mark it as read
and Stop processing more rules

Not a perfect rule. Notice the AND'ing of operands, not the default
of OR'ing.

Sorry for post. I now see it in OE-6 group in detail.
You cant get rid of it!

You won't be able to do it with OE. You need a newsreader that can filter on
message ID.....

Make the rule "Where the number of lines is more than _50_ lines" mark
as "Read".

Maybe add that to VanguardLH's rule so long-winded posters won't be
punished.

lol.. no, but some posters give a long dissertation about how the
computer goddess spurned them, and never get around to the vitals, such
as what graphics card is hosed, what model computer needs an updated
driver, etc..

From OLE. Go to Tools->Message rules->New. Create a new rule as follows:
check the box "Where the subject line contains specific words"
check the box "Delete it"

add the following
M I
M,I
MI
M'I

Click Apply now button and set it to news.microsoft.com

That does it for me - for now ;-)

He'll be back on his medication before they take any action.
