On my machine service pak 1 broke my sleep mode.It was working fine before
sp1.

For me the answer is no it did not fix my problem of loosing the internet
connection when bringing the system out of sleep mode.

No, I still have the problem of a black screen on this laptop when resuming
from sleep mode. Hibernation mode works well.
 
mine used to work in sleep mode now with sp1 i gotta windows was shutdown
unexpectaly error problem and reports says to download sp1 but i already show
it downloaded in windows update
