When i play some file (mpg - avi - divx) just some files looks good but the
sound is crackle. If i use other player the sound is ok, if i play the same
file in media center the sound is ok, if i play it in windows xp media
player 11 the sound is ok --
anything i can do.
the codecs are set to automatic download ---

How often does it crackle? Throughout the file or at the end?
What sound card is it? Is a driver update available from the vendor? Can
you turn Enhancements off on it?

Well mine is sounds like sometimes like someone is turning the volume up
n down a little bit like if i use media player more than 45min or less
sometimes it starts doing that if i use V.L.C. or something else it
don't do it at all but i don't ever recall having this issue in xp
though but heck i don't need media player 11 then simple as that.
