sound card

i have a everex stepnote laptop it had xp home on it i bought a new edition
of xp pro and put it on it but now i have no sound card ,well it says i dont
how do i fix this problem.
 
You visit everex site and download appropriate drivers for your laptop

i have tried to do that but can not find a site for everex stepnote drivers
if any one out there has the site please post it thank you .
