Someone from Microsoft called and they downloaded a malware program.

I received a call today from someone saying they were from Microsoft that stated my firewall had been compromised. They stated I had multiple complaints sent in that there was issues going on with my computer. I allowed access to them to open my computer and they downloaded a Malware program. But now my family is worried about getting our info stolen.
