I have a general question regarding snapshots. Not withstanding the final
need or reason for the snapshot, but is better to save them as BMP or Jpeg?

I've tried both and the quality appears to be equal, the only major
difference that I can see is the file size.

Thanks.

Where quality appears the same, it would seem like general sense to save
them in the smaller format..

You bet. I popped them into Photoshop and other than a little bit of jpeg
artifacts, nothing terribly different.
