A few days ago I downloaded and ran a hidden file finder tool which found 4 issues and advised to delete them. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what they were.
Since then, boot up has been slow and it is slow to open up other applications.
It is fine once the windows are open and browsing speed is ok-ish.
I have run a Mcafee virus scan which picked up nothing, and also tried Sophos Virus Removal tool but it was much slower than normal and I had to stop it as nothing else would work alongside it.
Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do to check?
I did run .Net framework fix it which made some changes, but could not find anymore fix- its for XP.
