Bored and let unused icon cleaner clean desktop.

Had a command or program that placed a shortcut on desktop that would
show your IP address and all other details for networking.

I've forgotten it, can't find it in my XP tips file, so hoping someone
would be kind enough to help me out.

I can do ipconfig for XP but this was something like winipcfg for W98
that would give a neat little window.

Thanks in advance.
Mark

That shortcut should have been moved to the "Unused Shortcuts" folder on
your desktop (or whatever the name of the folder). You can drag it back
to the Desktop from within the folder.

Found it! From the Windows 2000 resource kit
wntipconfig.exe

WNTIPCFG.EXE does the job - an unsupported tool that is part of Microsoft
Windows 2000 Resource Kit tools. Available as a separate download, the
installer file name is WntIpcfg_setup.exe

If you had it installed previously the .exe should be in folder c:\Program
Files\Resource Kit and you can create your desktop shortcut from that.
