I am running Windows 2000 on two machines connected with a Linksys router. I
have been able to
share drives and peripherals in the past. Lately, I can no longer communicate
over this LAN because
I can't sign on with my usual passwords. Both computers are in the same
workgroup. I cannot figure
out how to change or verify the existing passwords. Any ideas on how to correct
this?

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del, then change/synchronise your passwords.
