HI,

I am trying to enable shadow copies on our file server, with a raid 5 array.
When I try to select the volume the shadow copies will be stored , it only
gives me the option of the drive that has the original files on. There is no
option for any other physical disks.

Can someone please advise?

Thanks

Sofware raid? If you see it's enabled on the partition in the explorer
you'll be OK.

The data I want shadow copies of is on one raid 5 array, and I want the
copies stored on another raid 5 array..

Is this possible?

Yes, just change the storage location, you'll find that under the settings
button of Shadow Copies (Storage Area)

Well - perhaps a stupid question if you have the box to look at - is that
other array configured in partitions and formatted with NTFS?

Cheers
