Windows 2000 Setting window startup position

Most of my windows programs start in a nice neat place. However, I have
some bad boys that don't. They start in positions that obscure things like
the minimize, maximize, close buttons or the side or bottom scroll bar is
not visible and so on. Is there a way to set the startup position of a
programs window to where I want it to be instead of where it wants to be.

Frustrated,
Dan Hacker

Are you saying they're partially off screen? I'd check the hardware
manufacturer's web site for the latest graphics adapter driver.

I guess that is what I'm saying. They are starting up "off-center" with
parts of the window off the screen edge.

My but you're up early, and thanks for the reply,
Dan Hacker

It could be the operating is unaware of the actual desktop space because of
incorrect driver or it's also possible the application is at fault.
