I have Windows 7. It has been working well for several years. windows auto updates.
Yesterday after an update, the screen went dark except a little screen in the top left that says setting up personalized settings for web platform customization.
I have restored to previous versions and it looked like all was well then when it updated to the new Windows updates it went dark with the little screen. I did a restore from a back up and again it looked like it was going to work but after the updates
the same thing again.
I have read the forums and it appears that others have had this problem recently. There were no meaningful and useful responses from Microsoft that I could find.
Please let us know what we can do.
