I've upgraded an XP machine to W7 (fresh install), set up folder shares for access by a remote XP machine and they work fine for several hours (maybe half a day at most) then stop working. I get a message that remote system is not accessible and I "might not have permission to use this network resource". A reboot restores access/permissions again but only for a few hours. I can still see the W7 shares from another W7 machine just not from my XP machine anymore.
Have setup access to be controlled through the use of same userid/password on both machines
Very strange to me that I seem to have set everything up right since it works right away but that hours later it stops working.
Neither of the affected system ever goes into standby mode.
