Setting NIC to Gig speed

I do not see this option in my NIC's setting, yet I know the NIC will support
it. Is this a limitation of the driver or perhaps Win XP version?

I'm sure this is a simple issue, but haven't run across this before.

Any help would be appreciated.

CB,

If you have a GB NIC & a 10/100 switch you aren't going to get the speed...
If the entire infrastructure is also 1 GB then you will get the required
speed

Check your NIC's properties. The speed is normally set to the
"Auto-Negotiate" value and is somewhat dependant on the type
of connection speed of your Access Point equipment.
