I have windows media center on my pc. I recently purchased a Tv tuner card
"MSI TV@nywhere"

I installed the software for it, and it works fine with it. But i would like
to use it for my windows media center. But it keeps coming up with the error:

TUNER NOT FOUND

This happens when i click the set up tv option, and when i go to the
settings. I was wondering if anyone might have an idea?

On this page:

http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=TV@nywhere_Plus&class=vga

...there is no mention of it having the neccesary BDA drivers for it. I
think that an onboard hardware MPEG2 encoding chip (PVR) is also a
requirement on analogue TV-cards to be able to be used with Media Centre.

There is a lot of other software out there that you can use instead, and
some of it is actually better than Media Centre anyway.

I have the same problem. I believe the new internet tv beta is the
culprit. I downloaded software from my tv tuner aver media and my tuner
works perfectly-even better then wmc. I hope they fix this problem with
an update to internet tv

Ok thats fine. But do what would you recomend for a free and easy to use pvr.
Ive tried others, but it seems like i have to download all kinds of
programing guides and sign up for stuff, and then they never work. Maybe you
might know of an easy one?

I had BeyondTV in mind, but if you wanted something free, you should give
MediaPortal a look. There are some good skins for it.
