My profile Old man " on the sea ?!" But not Hemingway. I would like to live as long as possible without nervous informatics clashes. Sorry my mother tongue is GERMAN. Then please excuse my orthographic faults. Old man who sometimes swim...not in the deep-sea sea but binary problems. Enough for the moment my presentation.
My problem which I came to is:
1. A question common mutter. Why MS will stop support for Win XP. I work recently also with WIN 7 but I think it well specially for old people not to have re-adapt to new products witch are it seems me not so different with older OS.
2. Now to you - - - my problem began when I tried to go repair the Windows Installer. No idea how. Searching the web I found finally one answer on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315346.
OK I thought that's it. Reading before Application. Then go on. What happened? My PC wow out the WINDOW. Kaputt.
How restore ( "scusi" repair) ? To do that - - -first of all - - - I made work my old brain. What happened, what did I wrong. Answer first off all I was stupid to not have saved my registry before. That’s clear ---silly man. OK but I had work on my home Genealogical RESEARCH waiting. Go on day and night surf on the Web to find a solution. Yesterday I found it on how to (see http://www.ehow.com/how_7204900_repair-windows-xp-sp3-cd.html ). Question: where could I find else such a well thread? By Microsoft? Windows? Nenni. Certainly not. They will say you have to buy a new license. Why do you lost your CD. The answer is in the thread.
OK now again to you. An other thread on this same site give a also simple solution: how to restore an XP corrupted User Profile ( see http://www.ehow.com/how_6865166_restore-xp-corrupted-user-profile.html ) ??????
Thanks that is short and well done information. Thanks again. My PC function. Both the new and the old profile.
Now to you back. It works - - - but of course without the Emails in plus the hepctr must stayed corrupted Help and support takes 20 minutes to go on even the windows installer can't install a new version of Spam fighter.
