hi.
i have formatted my laptop - window xp home edition. now i am facing two problems 1. can't able to update widows getting error :Error number: 0x80244019
2. cant able to install service pack 3 - getting message -Error number:- service pack 3 setup update a checked ( debuged)system with a free (retail) version of service pack 3 , or vice versa
i had already tried solution like
1. Type regedit in RUN dialog box and press Enter. It'll open Registry Editor. Now go to following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
2. In right-side pane look for a String "CurrentType". Double-click on it and change its value to Checked as shown in following screenshot:
but still not able to install it.
