I have a windows 2003 standard edition sp2 server with 3gb of ram. Do I need
the /3gb switch on the boot.ini file like you do with exchange 2003 to take
advatange of the ram?

Absolutely positively NOT. This is not exchange or SQL, it is terminal
services. They are completely different beasts.
