Hello Everyone,

I'm having some problems with my server and was hoping someone out there
would be able to provide some feedback.

I have a Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4. It runs Exchange, File,
Print, Antivirus, etc. We recently started experiencing freezing issues on
this server. More specifically, the server is locking up about once a day.

It appears that just before the server locks, we see the following message
in the system log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Server
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2510
Date: 12/10/2007
Time: 7:19:40 AM
User: N/A
Computer: FTC-MAIN
Description:
The server service was unable to map error code 1453.

Does this error message mean anything or is it too generic to point to any
specific problem? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you!

Mike Chavez

Hello Mike,

Is that the only error or warning you have?

C:\>net helpmsg 1453

returns with

Insufficient quota to complete the requested service.

Might be the server has consumed it's resources. RAM, disk space, etc.
