Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and I certainly appreciate that it exists and any help I recieve from any of you.
We have recently (last 4 months ) upgraded to server 2008. This upgrade has been plagued with several problems that I will not get into right now. Our most current issue is with our Lacie-5big network drive. As of two weeks ago we are having intermittant access errors when using it. This drive has worked for the past year without issue and so this recent development is a problem for us. Lacie support does not provide support for server installation (thanks!). The error we get is that the IP address is already in use. We have noticed that the drive works fine until one of our employees logs into the system remotely. We then get this access error. My thought is that it is a windows update that has changed a setting somewhere but I cannot confirm. My IT skills are limited and when I try and search on the internet my working knowledge is useless amongst the computer jargone I get.
This is a priority problem for us and any advice is appreciated.
Regards,
Christian
