server 2003, vpn disables sharing folders?

I need my Server 2003 to accept VPN connections for remote access. I
ran the wizard and gave a user access to use remote connections.
However, after enabling VPN server via the wizard, nobody can access
resources located on the server unless I disable routing and remote
access (shared folders for example). How can I simultaneously run VPN
server as well as shared resources on the LAN? Thanks.

After establishing the VPN, the server will be assign another internal IP. That make VPN server as virtual server and may cause connectivity issue. These search result may help,
