Security Update KB935807 Bombs Out

Harry Krause

This is a new Vista security update. It downloaded ok, but it won't
"install." Read through the error message, was given a CODE 8007002,
which required me to shut off a process in Admin Services and clear out
a couple of directories. Did that. Tried again...still bombs out.

Ideas?

Also, now I'm seeing all the damned language pack updates again, the
ones I shut off from seeing months ago. Forgot how I did that...how do
you shut off seeing updates that do not interest you?

I went to this microsoft link and read the instructions under "known Issues"
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=935807 and everthing installed correctly.
