Security Update Issue

I have authentic windows XP sp2 that has been verified in prior updates. The
most current update fails and generates the knowledgebase item KB943460. I
still do not see how this article addresses my issue. Guidance sought

Download and install that update from this site:

"Security Update for Windows XP (KB943460)"
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...FamilyID=8ba1c2f9-1bde-4e97-b327-21259c5e5104

If there are further problems, repost incl. error messages and log to
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
