I have xp pro machine that has worked fine for a year but now the screen
scrolled 200 percent left to right and up and down I went into the display
settings and changed the advanced settings dpi settings from 96 to 120 this
made the screen scroll only 125 of normal. I can not change the scrolling
after this.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's a feature of your particular video driver software installation.
You may find adjustments in Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, and
then the "Tab" for your video adapter.
