Im running XP Home, and had a problem with the screen saver not coming on
after the time out period...note SP2. I found a response on XP general
concerning DVD drivers loading up at startup causing a problem (cyberlink
Power DVD). Indeed removing the driver from startup via MSconfig fixed the
issue... hurray.
I loaded the SP3 update, no probem the screen saver still was working.
Today... auto update loaded some fixes regarding MS Ooffice sp3, now the
screen saver is back to non operation status (except in preview mode).
I checked the DVD driver it is still unloaded.
Anyone have any clues on how this latest update put the monkey whench back
in the works?
