I have tried multipule solutions, but nothing has worked. Here are the ones I have tried but failed to get results:
1) cleared the cache in the Windows store.
2) tried using Windows Fixit. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058/en-us Fixed some problems, but not the main one
3) tried creating a new user account. I see only two accounts, mine, which lists me as the administrator, and the administrator account. Switching back and forth between the two does nothing.
4) Checked the history fro KB2926765
Security Update for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2926765)
Installation date: 5/13/2014 9:14 PM
Installation status: Succeeded
I think there may have been one or two others I have tried, but the hours (literally) I have been on this computer trying to fix this is making my brain fuzzy.
