I recall the account 'Alan' is the account created by XP asked myself when I
installed XP. Not sure if 'Alan' is the administrator account.
Usually I login as 'Alan' in normal mode. I tried both 'Alan' and
'Administrator' accounts with all possible passwords (include blank)
yesterday, the strange things the pop up box just shows a couple of seconds
showing something '...Diagnostic mode....', I cannot even read that in time.
Now things worse, I tried to login normal mode, it hangs many times once
went into the main screen (it shows up the desktop, icons, task bar).
I got dual boot with Win2K, tried into that, even inside Win2K sometimes it
hung.
Make it worse, there was one time it boot into Vista. I got Vista installed
in my second SATA HD, it seems the first HD did not get booted. May be the
boot sector is corrupted.
I tried several times now can get into XP but sometimes it hung.
I checked the fragmentation, it is quite need defragmentation. Are they
related?
