I am running Windows XP Home Edition. I have just installed Magix Music
Studio 11 Deluxe. Every time that I try to open Magix Music Manager, I get
this:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Abnormal Program Termination.

Can anybody solve this problem for me?

Uninstall the program. Turn off the computer and reboot. Do a new
install of the program. Report back with outcome. If error appears,
what is the complete error message?

Ghostrider, I had already done what you suggested before I posted the
question. It did not do any good. The same error popped up. Thanks for the
reply.

Not familiar with the program. But just how old is it? If it had been
written for an earlier version of Windows or even MS-DOS, is there a
version for Windows XP (and high-speed processors)? Runtime errors
can sometimes mean physical compilation problems or mismatched system
(e.g., *.dll) files.

The installed software is from the year 2006.

I have consulted the manufacturer. They suggested that I install it in the
safe mode. I did that. No results. I have contacted them again. I am waiting
for the reply. Have you got any other ideas?

The error has never changed from that that I originally stated.
