I'm planning to buy a SD -> IDE adapter and installing Windows 8 on a 32GB SD card. Is that doable? If so, is the performance going to be slow like hell?
It's going to be my file/media server so it doesn't have to be super fast. But it's a small form factor box (Shuttle) and I don't want to cram too many hard drives in it.
