I am trying to install Windows XP Pro using a RIS/WDS server. I am
having problems with the network drivers from the onboard intel
network card for an HP dc7700c PC. When the PC initally requests
address from DHCP it gets a 169.x.x.x. I can do an ipconfig /renew and
it pulls a valid IP for the subnet that it is on. I have tried
injecting drivers into the wim file. I have also tried using an $oem$
with my riprep image, and I am still having no luck. Has anyone else
ran into this issue before?
