Right Click Not working on Wireless mouse--receiver problems?

I'm using Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0. I've had this for
about 3 years. Out of the blue the right click button just stopped working.
I've installed it into another usb port, i've added an adapter and installed
it into a ps2 port. I've done adware scans, trojan scans, and virus scans all
with nothing.

I've taken another Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 and
installed it and I get the same thing. The receiver I'm using also is for my
desktop elite keyboard. The keyboard works fine.

Can something be wrong in the receiver that stops the right click from
working? Everything else with the mouse works fine.

I'm currently using intellipoint software 5.0, but have tried 5.5 and
6....and nothing seems to get the right click working again.

Any thoughts?

Tank You.

Have you gone through all the settings on the setup menus?

Switch "mouse" to lefthand in Mouse Properties. See if the left button
will now give context menus. The "right button" should become select
buton. That shold tell you where is the probmem.
