Hi,

my new laptop will have Windows Vista Business pre-installed. I read
that Windows Vista Business lacks some multimedia features that (most)
other versions of Windows Vista include, specifically

1) Media Center
2) Movie Maker
3) DVD Maker
4) MPEG2 codec

A replacement for 1) could be Media Portal and 4) could be added by a
separate DVD player software.

Can you recommend any good replacements for 2) and 3)?

Peter

For 2 you could use Microsoft Media Encoder.
