I have had repeated offerings of the same .NET Framework4 updates, which install successfully and show as installed updates. I have read and tried to apply solutions offered on many similar threads over the past year, all unsuccessful... these include
running the repair for .NET Framework 4 on control panel-> programs-> uninstall FixIt for windows update, (before and after resetting IE, both basic and aggressive modes). The original KBs (6 of them) were then hidden, and subsequently I have 5 different
KBs again for .NET Framework 4! I am feeling like it is time to uninstall and reinstall .NET Framework 4. Please help! This problem probably preceeded an upgrade from Vista to Win 7.
