Whats the Problem With "System Restore" ???

Hello:

I had a problem with a driver on my Win XP SP2 Home PC and tried to use Win
XP's System Restore to restore to a saved checkpoint. System restore gave me
an error message (I forget what it said now, but searching the MS KB for the
error message produced no help) and refused to restore to any saved restore
point.

I did a Google search and found a shareware utility (I have no connection
with this company) called WinRescueXP ( http://regvac.com/frescuex.htm ) and
downloaded it. As the utility gives a fully functional trial period, I was
able to use it to successfully restore the restore point that Win XP's own
System Restore refused to restore. Doing that resulted in a properly
functioning Win XP PC, including the fact that the System Restore was
properly working again.

So you may want to give WinRescueXP ( http://regvac.com/frescuex.htm ) a
try. It also performs many other tasks and functions.

HTH,
O.J.
