I have Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Media Center.
I want to clear out the thousands of pictures in the "picture library" that
are grouped in the "no tag" section. (I have already deleted these pictures
from my hard drive.) When I try to delete these icons with their titles (eg.
0002.jpg) from the "no tag" area of the "picture library", I get the message:
"Could not delte file. Windows Media Center was unable to delete
.......(0002.jpg for example). It can't delete the pictures because I've
already deleted them from my main Pictures file folder. So how do I get rid
of all these icons & their titles that are already deleted from my computer
anyway? I've been working on this for days. Help!!!!!!

Media Center stores thumbnail images in
C:\Users\youraccount\AppData\Local\Microsoft\ehome\Image.db

Close Media Center, rename Image.db to Image.db.old and MC will rebuild it
the next time you start.

Note: ..\AppData is a hidden folder, so you will have to unhide it first.
