Removing an Unlisted Program

When I inherited this computer, it had a Roxio family of utilities for CD
burning. Not all of them work, however. For instance, the drag-'n'-drop
doesn't work at all. Now I have some Nero software I'd like to install
instead, but want to remove the Roxio first. Trouble is, Roxio does not show
up on the Control Panel Add or Remove Programs list, or on Ray Geide's
Add/Remove Pro listing, nor does the program have its own Uninstall utility.
How can I purge this group of about 14 associated Roxio utilities? I quake
at the thought of simply deleting the program files; who know's what might be
left and what it might do! Many thanks in advance.

I am amazed by, and very greatful for, the advice I find on the various
Microsoft Newsgroups. Nearly everyone who responds is gracious and helpful.

For those of us who are not computer fanatics, but use a computer in our
work... as a means to and end, and not an end in itself... the information
that comes from these experts found on this site is invaluable. Most of us
try to "...do SOMETHING for [our]sel[ves]," but frequently need assurance
that what we're about to do won't put us out of business.
