Use my free Remove-it software, it will remove that malware from your
system. Download it here http://pcbutts1.com/downloads/tools/tools.htm

Do you really want to trust someone that was banned from posting
directly to Microsoft Usenet servers, someone that has posted links to
pornographic materials on HIS WEBSITE, who's website is in the MVP HOST
Block list?

Check links in my sig before connecting to that website

IME Ad-Aware doesn't remove WinFixer, which is probably what you have here.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic18610.html

On the above page there are links to two removal tools you can try. I found
these to work in most cases.

With a few examples it was necessary to disinfect using a BartPE or Windows
PE boot CD.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

The scarey part is that he now has an MS-MVP title behind his name????

Please note that "pcbutts1" is a fraud and is definitely
NOT a Microsoft MVP!

No he doesn't. He can put it there himself, but that doesn't make him
an MVP. He's been challenged to prove he's an MVP multiple times in
these newsgroups, and he never does--because he can't.

So says you but then you don't know me do you, we have never met. Now that I
think about it that's the first post you've made that does not contain a MS
link.

Microsoft has confirmed with the MVPs that he is *not* a MVP.

Microsoft says you're not. We who are MVPs know this for a fact.

The truth about Butts is found in the links in my sig

I would suggest you immediately remove the
[MS MVP] title from your sig as you have
not earned the recognition award. Prancing
around and pretending to be something you
are not is very immature and fraudulent.
