Here are specifics. When I start the 2007 install CD, I get this message:
Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a
prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first
uninstall any prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system
products and associated technologies.
Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup.
When I select Add/Remove programs, the Professional Plus 2007 (Beta) is
listed as: Size 680.00MB Used Frequently. When I select Change, I get this
message:
This product installation has been corrupted. Run setup again from the CD,
DVD. or other original installation source.
I do not have an install CD, since this was installed directly from the
Microsoft internet site.
When I select Remove, I get this message:
Setup could not find any available products to install. Please contact your
system administrator.
This is my home system I do not have an administrator.
I suspect that there is some file that needs to be changed or removed. Do
you know how either the Install or Change/Remove programs detect an error?
