I'm trying to install windows 2000 using remote installation service (RIS) but the installation keeps failing midway of the setup. I've dumped ghost images and installed Win 2K on several other drives of lower capacity without any problems. The drive which the installation is failing has 160 GB capacity and has an older build of Win 2K. I've heard that I might need to tweak the registry to enable support for large disk partitions.
Has anybody else had a similar experience when installing or dumping ghost images on a remote drive?
