I have recently installed windows 8. I use to use cisco vpn and the remote desktop. This works fine in the desktop environment but when try and connect the cisco vpn and then try and use the metro style remote desktop it does not work.
I put in the pc name and try and connect but get the message can't connect to remote pc. I think is something to do with the remote gateway server settings but in the desktop remote desktop this is set to automatically detect. Can't see
an option for this in the metro style app.#
Or could it be that the metro style box is sandbox and can not access the vpn?
