My hard disk drive on my laptop failed, so I purchased and installed a new one. I have reloaded Windows 8 Pro using the CD I previously purchased and upgraded to the latest version of Windows 8.1 and it is all working properly. It is however still asking me to activate Windows even though I have entered my product key on installation.
