I am attempting to load MS Office 2010 on XP SP3. I keep getting the following error:
'Error 1402. Setup cannot open registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_OBJECT_CASHING. Verify that you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact Microsoft PSS for assistance.'
I have tried a 'Clean Boot', 'System Restore' and I have run 'MS Fixit' which found and fixed some corrupt Registry keys but still no go. I have located the above registry key with regedit.exe but I am unsure if I should modify, it or how to modify it.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
