How can I edit or create a link between an application and an event? I use a
Canon digital camera, and like the software provided by Canon for acquiring
images. I have gone to the Camera and Scanner section in control panel and
right clicked for properties on the camera, and found that no applications
were linked to "On camera connect" ( the only event listed). Any body have an
idea how I can register the Canon application to this event?

"To link a program to a digital camera event"

I see in my case that there is no application listed, although at times, a window pops up when the camera is connected that suggests either photoshop or camera and scanner wizard. This must be in a registry entry somewhere. I would like to edit that entry to include Zoombrowser EX as a choice. (a Canon application bundled with a digital camera).

I know there is someway to override what is currently indicated, as I said
sometimes the "what would you like to do" window comes up, sometimes it
doesn't, and neither of the applications listed comes up in the properties of
the device. So somewhere there is lurking another property panel that does
list these applications. Question is, how do I find it?
