I have been trying without success to update windows but I am being haunted by error 800703f1. I have sought help on this forum but I din't see any. I was given some cmd's like net stop bits... but it din't work. I was asked to sfc scan but it tells me windows resource protection could not do it. the closest thing that could happen was the dism cmd. it told me my database is corrupt. I don't know how to correct it. it gave me a log I can't interprete. now I have decided to refresh my system, but it will tell me, it encountered some problems and no changes were made. I tried automatic repair but it told me it could not do it as well. I ran the windows trouble shooter and it was telling me some files are corrupt. this corrupt files in my registry seems to be the bane of my predicament, any offer of help pls. another info I tnk may be of help, I ran one app like that "windows 8 font changer" sometimes in feb or late jan to change the fonts of my system. I tnk my problem started around that time as well
